Mother’s Day Gift Guide
Anneler günü neredeyse geldi bile! Malum belki bu aralar hepimiz evlerimize kapanıyoruz ama belki kutlamak için daha güzel bir olasılık olacaktır. Kapanmayla beraber online shopping’e yöneldiğimiz bu günlerde hediye olabilecek önerilerimi paylaşmak istedim. Normalde hediye seçerken günlük kullanım için veya ihtiyacı olan vs yerine daha çok kişinin istediği / beğendiği ama kendine almayacağı bir hediye seçmeye önem gösteririm. Yine kullanabileceği bir hediye olmasını isterim ama ihtiyaç bazlı olması yerine keyif ve zevk odaklı olmasını tercih ederim. Bu nedenlede tencere-tava, ve süpürge gibi ürünlerden uzak durmayı tercih ederim (ama anneler günü amaçlı indirimler sayesinde evde kendi eksikleriniz varsa stock-up edin derim).

Mother’s day is just around the corner!
Granted we’re about to go into a 3-week long quarantine in Turkey but maybe it will allow us for a more special celebration this year. With that since I know that we’ll all be full-time online shopping, I wanted to share some of my gift suggestions with you. Normally when shopping for presents I try to stay away from items that are more for everyday use or borne out of necessity and try to focus on gifts that the person really likes but wouldn’t splurge on for themselves. The gift still has to be useful but I do prefer that it has a bit of luxury or whimsy to it rather than the grind of everyday life. Which is why I try to stay away from buying pots & pans or vacuums but if you need them for yourself now is the perfect time to stock up with all of the great sales (just maybe not for your mom).
